Who We Are
The Boston Debate League prepares young people for college, career, and engagement with the world through debate-inspired learning in the classroom and beyond.
We create inclusive learning communities for all, centering the experiences and assets of Black, Latino, and other marginalized young people in Boston.

What We Do
Our volunteers usually act as judges at BDL debate tournaments who listen to debate rounds, provide valuable feedback, and determine winners of debate rounds. No debate experience is required (we offer training), all of our tournaments are MBTA accessible, and we provide meals to all of our volunteers. Our volunteer shifts are usually on a Friday or Saturday and are 4-6 hours.
