Who We Are

Operating in 16 cities nationwide, Back on My Feet bridges the gap between emergency resources and self-sufficiency. Handing each of our members the keys to an apartment is not an effective solution on its own, even if it were financially possible! To truly help someone recover from homelessness and/or addiction, we need to provide the resources and social support they need to: 1) Create healthy routines and coping mechanisms that prevent recidivism or relapse 2) Learn or regain work skills & tools 3) Find sustainable employment 4) Manage finances and build a safety net 5) Secure long-term housing

What We Do

We empower people to achieve economic independence through fitness and community. Who We Help: We work with people experiencing homelessness or addiction who currently reside within shelters and recovery facilities. How It Works: We run and walk 2-3 times a week to build a sense of community and responsibility. With the support of workforce development, our members can work toward sustainable employment and self-sufficiency.
