Who We Are
The National MS Society is a non-profit health organization whose mission is to create a world free of MS. We raise over $120 million per year through hundreds of fundraising events, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.
What We Do
We work tirelessly and strategically to efficiently utilize our employees and resources to minimize costs and maximize profits funneled directly towards our mission. In 2017, we are proud that 82% of funds raised went to multiple sclerosis research and services for individuals living with the chronic and often disabling disease.
Nationwide, the National MS Society employs over 1,200 versatile staff members and 15,000 dedicated volunteers who specialize in fields including corporate relations, social work, event management, community relations, healthcare services, fundraising and development, and more.
In the last year alone, our fundraising dollars lead to the first FDA approved drug for progressive MS. We are united by these breakthroughs, our mission to create a world free of MS, and our passion for serving the community and those affected by unpredictable and unfair symptoms of multiple sclerosis.
